WETT Inspection
A WETT inspection covers the wood burning appliance in your home along with everything that vents it. For a wood stove or fireplace, I check the appliance itself for proper clearances, firebox condition and flue connections, then move to the chimney inspection, looking at connections, clearances, flashing and the condition of the flue. I also test the moisture level of your wood fuel, since dry wood has a lot to do with how cleanly an appliance runs. Before I leave, I'll walk you through operating it properly.
